I hope everyone had a relaxing New Year's holiday. I had a chance to see old friends who went back home, and we spent the New Year's time reporting on each other's recent activities.
This year's New Year's card features Mt. Akagi, which I saw when I visited Gunma Prefecture at the end of last year.
I tried to create a print of the overwhelming appearance of the mountain rising from the foothills, which is different from the satoyama seen from my office window.
Now, as for our company, we have started to move little by little, such as paying a visit to a shrine last week, visiting everyone to greet the New Year, and deciding on our action plan for the year ahead.
Our company will begin full-fledged work on Tuesday the 10th.
We at ID will continue to give shape to a variety of things this year. We look forward to working with you all.
We received the Ibaraki Prefecture Incentive Award!
Last year, we were told that we would receive an encouragement award from Ibaraki Prefecture in recognition of our past activities and the award we received at Graphis, and we attended the award ceremony.
I have not received an award from the prefecture since I was a junior high school student, so it was a good experience for me.
Thank you very much for giving such an award to an ordinary graphic designer.
How are you doing now that summer has passed and autumn is approaching? It has been a while since I have updated this blog, but our company is doing well. We have changed our sales vehicle a while ago, and this time of the year, we are driving around in the mountains. I have changed my sales car a little while ago, and this time of the year, I feel like driving in the mountains.
Now, I would like to talk about a recent project I worked on.
We are in charge of branding for TAISHO Co. We produced a billboard for Taisho Corporation, for which we are in charge of branding.
The billboard is located on the wall beside the factory, and it is quite large, measuring approximately 10 meters in width. First of all, we wanted to appeal to the young employees in a sensible way, and secondly, we wanted to create a world view of the company. First, we wanted to expand the world view of the recruitment website we had created earlier, and to give young staff members who are active in the company a chance to be part of the company. We asked young staff members who are active in the company to appear as models. Based on green, Taisho's key color The site is based on green, Taisho's key color, and uses graphics with a sense of movement to achieve a moderate harmony with the surrounding environment. The site is composed of moving graphics in harmony with the surrounding environment.
We asked Faith Inc. to produce the billboard. They were very attentive to our detailed specifications and produced a high quality billboard. We are very pleased with the high quality of the billboard.
The photography was done by photographer Shin Takeuchi. The basic composition of the billboards was enhanced by the photographer's unique point of view. The photos were created to highlight the unique qualities of the staff in each department.
As for the response after the installation, the high school is located nearby, and the location faces a busy national highway. We received feedback that the company's visibility had increased and that inquiries about job openings had increased.
Billboards, signs, and billboards are generally used for direct messaging. However, with the large amount of information flowing through smartphones and other devices on a daily basis, it is important that billboards, signs, and billboards are not just a direct message. However, in these days when we are bombarded with information through smartphones and other devices I think there should be signs that convey a message in a sensible way without being uncomfortable in the environment when you see them.
Our company has a wide range of experience in graphic design, web design, and large scale visual design such as this. We also specialize in large scale visuals such as this one, so please feel free to contact us! Please feel free to contact us!
